Well it took me a while to figure out which way is the best way to install the unit, USE THE SUPPLY HDMI CABLE , do not use the opical wire, Why , if you use the HDMI you can control the volume of the sound bar with your tv remote. play with sound adjustments it will pay off.

I install equipment and this Soundbar really does the trick for a small to medium size room and a mid-range budget. Easy to set up and install. Great appearance. Amazing "surround" sound right out of the box. Put this one in a client's bedroom and removed their low end 5.1 set-up (they like the bar sound better and classy appearance). Would work great for living rooms where you can't install a full surround set-up.

Let me start by saying that this product works fine. Sound is decent if you don't want a whole bunch of speakers taking up space. We bought this along with a samsung blue ray 3D player and a Smart TV. We were led to believe that using all new Samsung products would mean everything would sync nicely. As it turns out, that's not the case. We can't get our fios remote or our Smart TV remote to turn the speaker on, but both remotes will turn it off! How can that be? It's just nuts. So now I'm stuck using two remotes if I want the sound system turned on. Most of the time I just use the TV speakers. Emails and a call to tech support at Samsung yielded the response that not all products sync as expected. So, we can use one remote to turn the system off, but need two to turn it on. Buyers beware. I'm not happy.
